on a small ranch in Southwest Wyoming, he was raised as
a young boy on that ranch with his grandparents. As the
largest (and least handy) grandchild, John learned how to
stack hay with a pitchfork. He knows about cows and
horses from the "bottom" up. This has grown into a love
of the West, its history, culture, and idiosyncrasies. John
currently lives in Rock Springs, Wyoming, which is a
community with a rich mining history.
By traveling the width and depth
of the Rocky Mountain and
Great Basin state, John has developed a deep love and
respect for the West of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
