Stories with Music (for the musically impaired.)
Can a song be a story? Can every story be enhanced with
music? Can you sing? Can you play an instrument? The
answers to these and many other questins will be addressed
in this workshop. Making a song into a story, adding music to
a story and incorporating various instruments and voices into
your stories will be be the focus of the workshop.
Explore different methods of supplementing the basic
curriculum through storytelling. Using storytelling as a multi-
curricular tool, this workshop will focus on ways that students
can enjoy and be enriched through the use of storytelling in
the classroom. By finding, learning and telling stories
students can improve on basic skills and improve in
self esteem.
